24 dipped to 10.69m for Fox last night, early ratings figures show.
The eighth season premiered to 11.4m on Sunday, January 17 then dropped slightly to 11m across its next two hours, which aired last Monday.
It was beaten during the 9pm hour by CBS comedy repeats Two And A Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, which had 12.06m and 11.46m, and ABC's The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love, which logged 12.01m at 9pm, and averaged 11.45m across its two-hour period from 8pm.
Also at 9pm, Heroes grabbed 4.29m for NBC, up from last week's series low, and The CW's Life Unexpected managed 2.12m.
House won the 8pm hour, drawing 14.17m for Fox. NBC's Chuck put in 6.94m, 2.21m tuned in for One Tree Hill on The CW, and reruns of CBS comedies How I Met Your Mother and Accidentally On Purpose took 6.1m and 5.6m.
At 10pm, ABC's Castle was seen by a respectable 10.54m, 9.55m watched a CSI: Miami rerun on CBS, and The Jay Leno Show attracted 4.28m to NBC.
