Axed Idol contestant claims he's done nothing wrong	American Idol	Login to vote
After being disqualified from American Idol last week, Chris Golightly is now pleading his innonence and plans to ask for a second chance during a press conference later today. He was removed due to his contract with Dream Projects Entertainment. The 2 year contract was signed on May 30th 2009. Chris himself claims the contract has expired and that Fox is simply disqualifying him for not telling them about it. The contract was published online by TMZ and does seem to seal the deal for Chris' future on American Idol. Should the disqualification stand, he will be replaced by Tim Urban.
