Lourdes Benedicto has revealed that her upcoming birth scene in V is different from the one in the original show. Benedicto's character Val is currently expecting a baby with her fiancé Ryan (Morris Chestnut) but is unaware that he is a Visitor. "By the end of the season, she is going to have the baby," she told TV Guide. "It's more on the real side of things [compared to the original series]. It's going to play closer to what we know to be the birth of a baby, though it does have a tail. Hopefully it's better." Benedicto added that Val will soon discover that Ryan is really an alien. "She's going to have to make the decisions of what this baby means to her and whether she's willing to fight for it or not," she continued. "Val is going to get thrown into this world of Vs coming after her, with her trying to run away from them so she can protect her baby." Benedicto also revealed that the baby will be very important, explaining: "This baby is going to be a big part of what the war means for everyone in the future. Anna [Morena Baccarin] is definitely going to be very interested in this baby." V continues tonight at 10pm on ABC in the US and tonight at 10pm on Syfy in the UK. Source: Digi Spy
