Stephen King fans have another reason to look forward to FX's Sons of Anarchy when it returns for a third season this fall -- the author will appear in the third episode. King won't be playing himself, but rather a "quiet loner" who "appears in Gemma's time of need." Let's hope he isn't too quiet -- King is actually pretty good at the acting thing, having put in several cameo appearances in everything from films and miniseries based on his novels to Fraiser and Chappelle's Show ("black ... undertakers"). This is in stark contrast to other people who insist on giving themselves roles in their own movies, only to suck the life out of them. (coughMNightShyamalancough) The role reportedly came about when producers found out that King was a big fan of the show and offered him the cameo. The third season of Sons will premiere in September.
