Bizarre, wacky and hugely popular, "Eureka" has been among one of Syfy's most stable performers ... and now the cable channel is saying thank you with a fifth season. The series has gathered a lot of attention this season through its slight reboot and re-tooling. By way of time-travel, "Eureka" gave itself something of a makeover, and the overall consensus with fans of the show is that the change has allowed for a lot of a return of the fun and exciting energy that made the first season so enjoyable. Overall, "Eureka" is averaging more than 3 million viewers per week over key demographics, which is comparable to the ratings high that the series hit last year when the show marked a 20 percent increase from Season 2, according to numbers provided by Syfy.
