FOX Declines LIE TO ME’s Back Nine Order Lie to me Login to vote
The third season of LIE TO ME will have just thirteen episodes. Entertainment Weekly reports that FOX has declined to order the back nine episodes of the Tim Roth-starring crime drama.

Lie to Me has not been cancelled. While it is not a good sign, The Chicago Code, a new drama from Shawn Ryan (The Shield, Terriers, and, yes, Lie to Me) had already been scheduled to take over Lie to Me‘s slot beginning February 7, and with American Idol taking up so much time on FOX’s schedule, it could well be this is simply a matter of there being too many shows for too few slots this spring. Regardless, as of now, FOX has not cancelled Lie to Me and a decision on the show’s fate is not expected until May.

Lie to Me‘s last new episode to air before an already-scheduled hiatus scored 6.4 million total viewers, a season high. Hopefully it will be able to improve on that even more with its last five episodes of the season.

Lie to Me airs on FOX Mondays at 9pm eastern/8 pm central.
