NBC has picked up a pilot from Battlestar Galactica creator Ron Moore, which sounds pretty interesting. It’s described as an adult version of the “Harry Potter” movies with a working title called 17th Precinct and is an ensemble cop drama with supernatural elements. But I’m not really sure if its a good fit for NBC, as the sci-fi shows they launched this season (The Event and The Cape) are not a hit and have declining ratings… Maybe it would be a better fit for the CW where sci-fi does work.
