‘Justified’: Season Two Premieres Strong	Justified	Login to vote
Great news, Justified fans! The second season premiere had strong ratings with 3.5 million total viewers tuning in. Let’s hope the show can keep this up and hopefully we will get a third season of Justified. FX’s contemporary Western, Justified, returned Wednesday night for its sophomore effort, posting solid numbers in the ratings. The opener was up significantly from the series’ average for its first season, drawing 3.5 million total viewers (up 42%) and a 1.3 rating in the key 18-49 demo (up 43%). The second season premiere, however, was down compared with the series launch last March, which drew 4.2 million viewers and a 1.9 rating. The series debut was the network’s second-highest to date, behind The Shield (4.8 million, 3.3) in 2002. This is a good sign for a series that saw viewership dip to 2 million viewers and a 0.9 for the finale in June. But that wasn’t the lowest numbers its hit: Justified posted a series low for its May 25 episode, attracting 1.8 million and a 0.8. Justified’s lead-in this time around, the broadcast premiere of Wanted, attracted 2.8 million viewers and a 1.4, higher than last year’s Live Free or Die Hard showing (1.9 million, 0.9).
