HOMELAND + ARROW Renewed Arrow Login to vote
it’s a manic monday for all things tv! it started with the earlier news that the x factor has been renewed for a third season (details here),now showtime announces that award winning drama homeland has been renewed for a third season. it’s not a surprise. the series has been breaking ratings records and last night’s episode garnered the highest number of viewers to date.

showtime network president, david nevins, announced the news today:

“the emmy wins for ‘homeland’ have certainly set the stage for a great second season. the writers, cast and crew of homeland continue to create a remarkably entertaining and suspenseful roller coaster ride, growing audiences week after week. we can’t wait for our viewers to experience what unfolds through the rest of season two. our partners at fox 21 have been tremendous, and we are thrilled to begin the planning for ‘homeland’s third season.”

in other news, the cw’s breakout hit arrow has received a full season pick up.
bringing in the network’s biggest ratings in years, the superhero adaptation got a 22 episode order. looks like star stephen amell will be hitting the gym to keep up those amazing abs.
