the flash is speeding his way onto our tv screens this fall. ready, set, go! i’ll admit that my knowledge of the flash comics is limited among the pantheon of dc comics characters. sure, i know he’s been gifted the power super-speed, but what else do i know about the eponymous hero, a.k.a barry allen? not much. luckily for me, and a generation of fans, the cw is granting the swift comic legend the small screen treatment in their upcoming series, naturally titled the flash. starring grant gustin as the titular scientist, we see from the new promo that we’ll be getting an origin story (so popular these days), and in what is standard comic fare, a lab accident spurs the life-changing transformation. it seems like the cw is banking on creating another superhero success, cameo by arrow (stephen amell) included! dc comics has been expanding its run of fall tv domination. in addition to the flash, fox networks has their own adaptation of a dc-centric universe, gotham, set to premiere as well. the flash premieres tuesday, october 7th at 8/7c on the cw. watch: https://www.voiceoftv.com/p/tv-trailer-the-flash-suits-up Source: https://www.voiceoftv.com/p/tv-trailer-the-flash-suits-up
