ReGenesis - some news ;-) The Apprentice Login to vote
Some good news for ReGenesis fans:

While season 4 of the show is already in full production since August, there were recently some major rewriting of the plot in the few episodes of this season. The reason: to carry out subplots into seasons 5 and 6 (but that doesn't neccessarily mean show may not be axed at any time if there is not enough ratings, of course). There are few guest appeariances by more-and-less known stars already signed or in negotiations.
(And no, Maxim Roy as excellent Caroline is not coming back from dead, unfortunately ;-) .

Of all the cast of the show, only Peter Outerbridge had 5-season contract since begining of this project. The rest of the entire cast was hired 'per season' only, what lead to some tensions in the end of season 2, when the show gain growing popularity overseas. Fortunately this had resolved in a satisfactory manner for all the crew, or so it seems.
The warehouses that serve as temporary show's studios in Mississauga (canadian Toronto's suburbs), which has turned into a permanent 'residence' of the show by now, had been secured by Shaftesbury Films until 2009.
There are also rumours about contract renegotiations (change to 2-season contracts) too, and since ReGenesis had been picked up to syndication by major US networks such as ABC and FOX and canadian CBC again, as well as another few european broadcasters, the money had been pouring on the producers lately.

All of which leads to a conclusion that as of middle of season 4, the excellent story lines and plots delivered by superb writers may actually soar even higher in the upcoming episodes - since now the future of the show is less likely to end abruptly with the end of season (as it was always uncertain through seasons 1-3).

ReGenesis syndicated airing starts this fall in North America on ABC, Belo, CBC, Granite, Fox, Hearst, Landmark, Lin, and Tribure and Young groups.
