  'Hannibal' finally gets premiere date.

The serial killer thriller will premiere Thursday, April 4 at 10 p.m

The time slot is a bit of a surprise. One would expect given NBC’s recent drama struggles that the Bryan Fuller series would at least have its premiere stunted behind The Voice this spring, a strategy that’s really helped another freshman drama, Revolution. This particular time slot just saw the short-lived Do No Harm do a ratings face-plant. Then again, a dark crime drama about ...

You made fun of it. We made fun of it. Old Man McClintock down the street made fun of it. But it lives on. ABC's The Neighbors, which came out of the gate as an almost universally panned new sitcom, has earned a full-season order. As has second-year drama Scandal.

Both shows will add nine episodes to their original 13-episode orders for a total of 22 episodes each. That means an additional four-and-a-half hours of Marty Weaver snickering at the name Dick Butkus. In its most recent airing last...

MUNSTERS remake full pilot airs this friday
Bryan Fuller, the full-blown, off-kilter genius who gave us Pushing Daisies, Wonder Falls, and Dead Like Me, has gone back into his laboratory and brought forth: Mockingbird Lane. It’s not a reboot but rather a reimagining of the old The Munsters TV show.

I was “eh” about The Munsters back in the day, but I am slathering at the jaws to see this pilot. And the cast! Let me start with two words: Eddie Izzard (The Riches). As Grandpa Munster. (If you’ve never heard of Eddie Izzard 1) I a...

The Walking Dead
In this preview for episode two, “Sick,” it looks like we’re going to get an answer to the question we’ve all been asking since AMC posted the season three promo back in the summer: Does one of the survivors die in episode two?

The line from Rick is – “We spilt blood” – followed by a glimpse of Daryl bringing flowers to a grave. A lot of people think that Hershel dies because of his amputation. I don’t. In fact I don’t think that anyone dies in “Sick.” I think “we s...

The news isn't that surprising, as star Kate Walsh already declared that she wouldn't return for a seventh season if the show were renewed for one, and, well, it just didn't have the same success as the show from whence it came.

Rhimes took to the interwebs ...

Game of Thrones
HBO just sent forth a raven bearing good news for all the realm! King Joffrey slipped in the shower and broke his neck! Well, not really. But the next best thing: The network has renewed Game of Thrones for a third season! File this under "unsurprising news," as Season 2 has gotten off to a fantastic start both critically and ratings-wise, but everything is better when it's written in stone.
Early ratings data suggests that Game of Thrones isn't done growing and is on the same sort of trajector...

Fringe Prepares for Its "End Game"
Fringe
How's that for a sensationalistic title? I'll go ahead and calm your fears: Fringe has not yet been cancelled, and there's still a significant chance that it will be renewed for a shortened fifth season. But that doesn't mean that the show isn't preparing for an end game of some sort.

Titles for the final stretch of episodes this season have been revealed, featuring some pretty thought-provoking stuff. Of course, Friday's episode is "Nothing As It Seems," an outing that hearkens back to the ...

NBC Renews Grimm for Season 2
Grimm
Sometimes, fairy tales do come true. Aww! Grimm, NBC's new procedural with a fairy-tale twist, joined the NBC family last fall with little fanfare behind it, a crummy Friday-night slot, and the claim of being "that other new fairy-tale show." Now it's the first new NBC series of the 2011-2012 season to make it to Season 2.
Battling fellow genre shows Fringe and Supernatural on Friday nights, Grimm has performed well enough to be one of NBC's more surprising shows, though that ain't saying much....

CBS Renews 15 Series, Including Person of Interest
It's mid-March, and networks have been eerily quiet on renewals for veteran series. Until now. CBS held a renew-a-palooza today, handing out return orders for 15 series. In fact, so many renewals were announced that it's actually easier for me to tell you which shows DIDN'T get orders for another season. So I'm sorry, CSI:NY, CSI:Miami, Unforgettable, A Gifted Man, Rules of Engagement, and Rob. Maybe you'll get some good news later.
Everyone else, break out the caviar and Triscuits, because you...
