Okay. So maybe I can help clarify this somewhat. Because we scrapped the original pilot -- and in fact cannibalized some of its parts for other eps -- we really ended up with 12 episodes. But the studio makes DVD and other deals based on the original 13 number. So we created a standalone kind of coda episode. Which is the mythical new episode 13. The network had already paid for 13 episodes, and this included the one they agreed to let us scrap for parts. It does not include the one we made to b...

Inside sources close to the show tell us exclusively that Sheldon and the rest of the Big Bang gang are confirmed to come back!
Earlier this morning CBS and Warner Bros. TV sealed the deal that renews CBS's hit comedy The Big Bang Theory for two more seasons of 22 eps each. News of CBS' intentions to renew BBT leaked earlier this month but the I's and T's had remained undotted and uncrossed until today.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - A second mid-season Fox series, producer Joss Whedon's new drama "Dollhouse," has shut down production for a couple of weeks to work on scripts.
Filming on "Dollhouse" stopped Thursday after wrapping episode three. It came at the request of Whedon, who had had spent little time in the writers room lately, busy directing the first two episodes of the series. Not completely happy with the quality of upcoming scripts, he asked producing stud...

Henstridge will be joined for the romp by David James Elliott of JAG and LA Confidential vet James Cromwell under the watchful eye of Smallville helmsman Mike Rohl working to a script by Superfir...
Sky One (UK) has provocatively given the go-ahead for the development of two 60-minute scripts which could see the return to the small screen of cult TV classic Blake's 7, the BBC reports.
Blake's 7 ran from 1978 to 1981 on the Beeb, and is best remembered among chaps of a certain age for the presence of Jacqueline Pearce as the deliciously villainous Servalan*, who alongside Paul Darrow as Avon and Gareth Thomas as Blake, battled gamely against wobbly sets and decidedly low-tech special effe...
