'Nurse Jackie' Scoop: 'Kyle XY' beauty Jaimie Alexander cast as [spoiler alert]!
I see an emergency Adderall refill in a certain harried nurse’s future, and here’s why: Kyle XY beauty Jaimie Alexander is checking into Nurse Jackie for a sizeable arc as Jackie’s (Edie Falco) wild, immature sister-in-law.

Alexander’s character, Tunie—who will appear in at least four episodes of the Showtime dramedy’s upcoming third season—is Kevin’s (Dominic Fumusa) never-before-seen younger sibling.

In the final moments of Jackie‘s second season, Falco’s increasingly...

24's Chloe is Modern Family Mitchell's Ex!
She was last seen telling Jack Bauer to "Run!" and now 24's Chloe O'Brian is running to ABC's Modern Family. Mary Lynn Rajskub, who spent six long "days" saving Jack's butt, has been cast on the Emmy-winning sitcom as the old high school girlfriend of then closeted Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Apparently Chloe's mastermind mental skills did not include gaydar.

Rajskub, who got her start as a stand-up comic, recently guest starred on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Royal Pains. Won't...

Exclusive: 'Big Love' activates Terminator Robert Patrick for major arc
Big Love just got a little bigger: Onetime Terminator Robert Patrick has just signed on to appear in multiple episodes of the show’s upcoming fifth season.

The actor, probably second-best known for his stint as David Duchovny’s X-Files replacement, will play Bud Mayberry, the leader of polygamist fringe group. Which, to my thinking, means one thing: Bill (Bill Paxton) is gonna have his hands full, what with 24 baddie Gregory Itzin also on board as the Republican Leader of the Utah State S...

Warehouse 13 stars Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly as a pair of government agents who investigate fantastical mysteries. It was the most-watched TV series on Syfy this year.

'30 Rock' Exclusive: Tina Fey's 'Mad' about John Slattery, too!
If I didn’t know better I’d say Tina Fey really likes Mad Men.

The 30 Rock Emmy winner—who wisely finds every available opportunity to work Mad leading man Jon Hamm into the show (including the upcoming live outing)—has now tapped his costar, John Slattery, to guest-star, sources confirm to me exclusively.

I’m told Slattery will play a candidate running for congress in this season’s seventh episode.

Ratings: New Law & Order Solid Debut; New Shows Fall Hard
NBC's latest entry in the Law & Order franchise premiered to solid numbers, while several freshman shows substantially slipped, according to overnight Nielsen estimates.

Law & Order: Los Angeles drew 10.5 million viewers and easily won the 10/9c time slot among the 18-to-49 demographic. The show even built on its Law & Order: SVU lead-in of 9.9 million viewers. However, NBC's Undercovers (8.2 million viewers) was down 24 percent from its première in the demo, placing fourth in its timeslot.

'Cougar Town' Exclusive: Byrd romances Wolfe
That noise you hear is functioning alcoholic Jules searching for her “Big Joe” wine glass.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that Collette Wolfe—who appeared in NBC’s ill-fated summer series 100 Questions—is joining Cougar Town as an older grad student who gets romantically involved with college freshman Travis (Dan Byrd).

That noise you hear is functioning alcoholic Jules filling up her “Big Joe” wine glass.

Wolfe is slated to appear in multiple episodes, the first of whi...

Exclusive: 'Shield' vet Catherine Dent joins 'NCIS' as [spoiler alert]!
It looks David McCallum is about to receive the highest of honors from NCIS: An origin episode for his character Ducky!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that ex-Shield cop Catherine Dent is joining the CBS smash for at least two episodes as Whitney Sharp, a former NCIS agent who shares a past with Ducky.

Dent’s character is described as an educated, bright, and extremely capable federal agent who had an eye for talent and a tongue for persuasion back in the day.

Both of Dent’s epis...

Exclusive: 'Chuck' enlists Rob Riggle
Actor-comedian-ex-Daily Show correspondent Rob Riggle is headed to Chuck, sources confirm to me exclusively.

The shocking twist? He’s not playing a character named Greta. I swear!

Riggle will instead guest star as Jim Rye, a super smart, intensely positive, and slightly crazy CIA agent who’s brought in to help Chuck become an even better spy.

He’ll appear in this season’s eighth episode, which also features a guest turn by fanboy icon Summer Glau—who will be playing a characte...

'Chuck' Exclusive: Summer Glau to play [spoiler]!
It’s not a back nine pickup, but as far as welcome Chuck news goes I’ll happily take it: Summer Glau has signed on to guest star as the show’s newest Greta!

The Sarah Connor Chronicles siren and EW Sexiest Beast finalist has been tapped to play the Buy More’s rotating undercover agent in this season’s eighth episode, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Other upcoming Gretas include Stacy Keibler and Isaiah Mustafa. Olivia Munn originated the role in Monday’s season premiere (and...

Blucas will play the team’s hunky trainer and a romant...

Congrats, Smallville—you have outdone yourself! For the show’s 10th and final season, producers have scored perhaps their biggest (maybe even the biggest possible) casting coup: They’ve snagged erstwhile Lois Lane Teri Hatcher to play mom to Erica Durance’s Lois Lane!

I know what you’re thinking: But Lois’ mom, Ella, is dead! Follow along now…

In episode 8, titled “Abandoned,” Lois discovers old videotapes of her mother. I think you can figure the rest out for yourself. A...
