Scoop: 'Parks and Rec' collars Natalie Morales

USA has picked up a new legal drama, Facing Kate, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The cable network has ordered 11 episodes on top of the 90-minute pilot. Sarah Shahi (The L Word) stars as a lawyer-turned-mediator. Sci-fi starlet Summer Glau is joining NBC's superhero series The Cape, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Cape follows a framed former cop (David Lyons) who turns to vigilantism, fighting bad guys as a masked hero called The Cape. The 28-year-old actress will play an investigative blogger who also fights crime and corruption from behind a mask.

Breaking Bad star Dean Norris has booked a guest spot on Criminal Minds, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Norris will play a gruff detective at the local Tallahassee police station in the season's 20th episode, written by showrunner Ed Bernero. The episode will air during May sweeps.

NBC’s Rockford Files reboot just climbed to the top of my list of most anticipated fall pilots (tied with Wilde Kingdom, natch).
