just got word that the show would be in cbs and ctv again on july 20 on sunday.
maybe it's another chance to get a better quality one?

nice episode. really liked it. but i'd like to raise a concern that there are
fuzzy lines in some parts of the show, which distracts me from enjoying the show.
is it an encryption issue or something? i hope that it can be resolved.

moral, caring cops with emotional consequences. explosions, when all else fails.
i like \'the unit\' (also on cbs) when it addresses the egregious use of force
needed to defend against force and the guilt that comes from fighting evil with
evil actions. they have their moments of destruction far from home and leave
the guilt for later (when they are home). flashpoint takes place down the
street. in your office building or mall. the consequences of action or
inaction are to be replayed in their mind, home, community and above all on tv.
and despite the preparations our heroes take, it just doesn\'t assuage the
situations that go tits up.
this show is grounded in moral motives that will pierce the heart of it\'s
viewers. let the rambo\'s have their shows, and let us tread the thin, ever
moving and twisting thin blue line of flashpoint. in the show\'s own words,

mr. mule, i agree that the two episodes that have been show can be seen as
simplistic. what we are shown are simple situations were someone has decided
that might makes right and now we can kill them and go home. what makes this
show different from law & order or csi is the reflection on the final solution.
for example, in the pilot our protagonist is quarantined until an investigation
is completed into the appropriateness of killing a person. this is a radical
departure from law & order and csi because they do not debate whether their main
characters are right, they simply act as though they are. this moral
correctness without reflection does not make one right but righteous.
the prechiness you see can be seen by many, many people. however those of us in
the choir relish the sermon as it fills our soul with hope that justice can
exist in a righteous world. there are those of us that base our decision making
process on moral debate, and this show may become a hit for us. especially, if
every episode, three times a week doesn\\\'t start with meaningless violence and
death.
