i am starting to loose interest in this show. it is boring in parts and goes from one extreme
(wife not wanting anything to do with man in dreams) to hugging him and idle banter...and
now in australia - we have to wait 3 months before 2nd season. meh, over it!

not until season two -- until the rest of season one. just because channel seven is calling it the season finale doesn't mean
it actually is. they just think we're all too dense to understand that there's a hiatus in the middle of the season to
accommodate for the christmas break.
there are a full 22 episodes ordered for season one, and this is only episode ten.
of course, the way our american counterparts are complaining about the show and the diminishing ratings on sites like this,
the show may not make it to 22 episodes ... your own "meh, over it!" remark is indicative of the apathy that may see this
show cancelled before a resolution is shown. now that would be dissatisfying!

of course, that's just one of the things that can go bad. examples for other possible outcomes:

[*] show gets cancelled, and gets some "we need an ending, right now" finale
[*] show gets cancelled, and gets some generic "we can use this ending whenever we need one" finale
[*] show runs to "the end", but the makers never thought it would get that far so they really don't
have any ideas how it all plays out.
[*] show runs to the end, gets the intended ending... and gets a new season.
[*] show runs to the end, and gets a new season instead of the ending that should be there.
