As expected, ABC has picked up FlashForward for a full season.

NEW YORK (AP) - Majel Barrett Roddenberry, the widow of "Star Trek" creator Gene Roddenberry, has died. She was 76. Roddenberry, an actress who appeared in numerous "Star Trek" TV shows and movies, died Thursday of leukemia at her home in Bel-Air, Calif., her representative said.

George Carlin passes away at 71

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - George Carlin, the dean of counterculture comedians whose biting insights on life and language were immortalized in his â€œSeven Words You Can Never Say On TVâ€ routine, died of heart failure Sunday. He was 71.
