wilfred - renewed - 4th & final season on october 2, 2013, wilfred was renewed for a ten-episode fourth and final season. the series will move to fx's sister network fxx and creator david zuckerman will return as co-showrunner. the series about a pot-smoking dog (jason gann) who appears as a human in a dog costume to elijah wood's ryan will be moved to younger-skewing cable network fxx following a low-rated third season that saw former showrunner david zuckerman appeal to fans on twitter to watch the series live. zuckerman, who developed the adaptation and served as showrunner for its first two seasons, will also return to oversee day-to-day operations on the dark comedy after reducing his role for a year. he'll now serve as co-showrunner alongside season-three showrunners reed agnew and eli jorne, who have been with the series since season one. wilfred -- which will come back for 10 episodes, off from its typical 13 order -- was down considerably among total viewers in its recently concluded third season. season two averaged 1.16 million total viewers, while season three ended with an average of 580,000 total viewers. wilfred will join it's always sunny in philadelphia, legit, the league and talk show totally biased with w. kamau bell on fxx, which caters to adults 18-34. in renewing the series last year for its third season, fx noted that the comedy's median viewer age hovers around 36. the renewal and move comes as fx/fxx looks to grow from 13 original series to 25 over the next couple of years under fx networks ceo john landgraf. with its third season, the philosophical comedy eclipsed the australian series on which it's based. fiona gubelmann and dorian brown co-star. source: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/wilfred-renewed-fourth-final-season-637376 show information page: http://eztv.ch/shows/496/wilfred-us/ show description, air dates, show resources, and torrent links. thank you, pariahso, for the heads up.
